The Contributions of Women in Indian History Will Always Be Remembered.

A seminar was organized at the Government Girls College under the guidance of the Principal and faculty members to highlight the role and contributions of women in Indian history. The keynote speaker emphasized that women have played a significant role not only in family life but also in politics, administration, warfare, education, and social reform. From ancient scholars to freedom fighters and modern leaders, women have continuously shaped the nation’s history. The session also encouraged students to consider History as an academic subject with diverse career opportunities, while recognizing and celebrating the often-overlooked contributions of women in building the nation.
